This project was executed in collaboration with furniture designer Michael Nyman and textile designer Mikhaela Sarmiento. The stools are flat pack and were designed with the intention of customizing the surface of the plywood. I designed each panel with the three basic weave structures in mind: tabby, twill, and satin. The basic cloth structures can be used as a source of visual design as well as structural design.
