This pattern collection builds on my research on the grid systems of traditional rug making. The motifs are a whimsical and modern twist on traditional floral and geometric designs. This collection also explores rhythms and patterns created in nature and how they are reflected in cloth structure. I love to juxtapose fluid organic elements with geometric elements derived from the grid.
